Junior Representative

Meredith Tarkington started riding two and an half years ago, after seeing "The Pioneer Valley Stables" sign in front of Kathryn and John Bauman's farm. Meredith spends time with her grandparents, as their farm, is "just down the road" from The Pioneer Valley Stables, in Auburntown, TN.
Meredith rides Rhysen Star, a four and an half year old connamera cross pony and Gotcha, an eighteen year old Westfalen mare. She rides Dressage and has started jumping. Her goal for this year is to be able to ride four to five times a week.

Besides riding, Meredith excels in; Academics, and drawing/painting animals and wildlife. She also has a new pastime which is learning and understanding the Japanese culture and language. Meredith is in the fifth grade at Thurman Francis Art Academy in Smyrna, TN. Even with this busy schedule, she maintains an "A/B" average.
